ITINERARY

Day 1:  DUBROVNIK

Welcome to Dubrovnik!  On arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.  After some time to relax, your adventure will begin.  

Dubrovnik is one of the most significant monuments in the world and one of Europe’s best preserved walled cities. The old town is surrounded by a 2 km long wall that gives a great opportunity to see old Dubrovnik from above during a one hour relaxing walk; the city’s churches, fortifications and monuments are a real must-see. In the historical centre of Dubrovnik, you will visit the main street Stradun, the main square Placa, Pile Gate, the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace, the walls of the Old Town, the church of Saint Blaise, the cathedral, the Jesuit church, Orlando’s Column, Big Onofrio’s Fountain, the city port and other hidden gems. 

Day 2:  DUBROVNIK

Explore the regions outside the city walls today.  Take the cable car up Mt Srđ for a panoramic view of the city. 

Day 3:  KOTOR

After breakfast, travel to the Republic of Montenegro, a country with a rich heritage and immense natural beauty. On the way to Kotor,  stop at the town of Perast, a little baroque settlement.  Continue on to Kotor, an old Mediterranean town that dates back to the 12th and 14th century. A walking tour will allow you to explore this UNESCO site, including the churches of Saint Nicholas and Saint Luke, the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon and other cultural moments. You will have free time to continue wandering around the old paved town, or have lunch in a restaurant on one of romantic squares.  

Day 4:  MOSTAR

After breakfast, drive to one of the most beautiful cities of the Balkan Peninsula, Mostar. During the walking tour, you will visit the symbol of the city, Balkan TOP 10 and the most photographed sight in the country – the Old Bridge (a UNESCO protected landmark). You will then proceed to Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the Crooked Bridge and the old tanner’s quarter Tabhana. 

Day 5 :  SPLIT

Travel back to Croatia today taking the scenic route.  In Split enjoy a guided tour where you will discover Diocletian’s Palace; Jupiter’s Palace, the cathedral and an abundance of Roman architecture.  

Day 6:  SPLIT 

Visit Trogir this morning.  This ancient city dating back to 300BC is under UNESCO protection.  Free time this afternoon to relax and enjoy the surrounding areas. Alternatively, take an optional 3 island boat tour.  

Day 7 :  PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK

This morning, continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park.  Spend the afternoon enjoying the oldest National Park in Croatia, also under UNESCO protection.  Take a boat ride across the Emerald Lake, soak in the beauty of the 16 lakes connected by waterfalls before travelling to your accommodation for the night.  

Day 8:  ZAGREB

Travel to Croatia’s capital city of Zagreb today.  This afternoon your guide will  show you the sights – the medieval Upper Town, St. Mark’s church, with its multicolor tiled roof, Parliament, the government palace, cathedral and Ban Jelaćić square. 

Day 9:  ZAGREB

Enjoy the city of Zagreb today. 

Day 10:  DEPARTURE

Time to say ‘Farewell’.  Transfer to the airport in time for you flight home.
